Synthetic Turf Resources, LLC (STR) is a Dalton, GA based, family owned business that provides yarn as well as tufted and knitted products to the synthetic turf industry.

Activated in 2004 after the purchase of the assets of SRI Sports by Textile Management Associates, LLC, STR has capabilities of extrusion, texturizing, twisting, knitting and tufting, all associated with the turf industry.

STR has nine (9) extrusion lines, capable of producting monofilament and slit film yarns. The yarns produced are solution dyed, UV stabilized
nylon, polypropylene and polyethylene in various colors to support landscaping applications and sports applications including football, soccer, golf, field
hockey, lacrosse, tennis and other recreational activities.

There are eighty-four (84) positions of fiber texturizing available at STR. This includes mechanical texturizing, heated air texturizing and steam texturizing.

Twisting is done on four (4) types of twisters utilizing fifty-two (52) stations of twisting.

STR also has five (5) knitters for producing turf and turf type products for the industry ranging in width from one(1) meter to five (5) meters.

The tufting capabilities are very diversified. STR has a total of eight (8) tufting machines ranging in gauges including 3/16, 1/2, and 3/8 utilizing pile heights up to three (3) inches.
